On Reserve/ERes
What are Reserves?
Reserves are items (books, videotapes, CDs, etc.) placed on special shelves behind the Circulation Desk at the request of faculty members who wish to make material available to more students by reducing the length of the borrowing period. Items are normally placed on reserve for the duration of a course (usually one semester). At the end of the semester they are removed from reserve status and returned to the professor or to the library's circulating collection.
Reserves for Business, Management, Accounting, Justice and Law Administration, Education, and Math/Computer Science are available at the Circulation Desk in the Robert S. Young Library at the Westside Campus. Reserves for all other subjects are available at the Circulation Desk on the First Floor of the Ruth A. Haas Library on the Midtown Campus.
