Since 1950, the Association of Government Accountants has been--and remains today--the educational organization dedicated to the enhancement of public financial management. AGA serves the professional interests of financial managers, from local, state and federal governments, as well as public accounting firms, responsible for effectively using billions of dollars and other monetary resources every day.

The Board's mission is to establish and improve standards of financial accounting and reporting for the guidance and education of users of financial information. Site contains pronouncements, staff positions and other FASB documents.

"The Institute of Management Accountants is the largest management accounting association in the world. The institute's purpose is to expand the knowledge and professionalism of people specifically interested in cost accounting." It's publications, Strategic Finance, Management Accounting Quarterly, and the IMA Statements on Management Accounting are among the resources available.

The recently revamped IRS website has organized the information and set up sections for business, non-profit, individuals, and tax professionals. IRS tax forms and publications are available, including current tax forms.

Standards issued by the International Accounting Standards Board are designated International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs). Standards originally issued by the Board of the International Accounting Standards Committee (1973-2001) continue to be designated International Accounting Standards (IASs).
