Using books in education research
Traditional books/monographs hold an important place in the research process alongside journal literature.
- Books are an excellent source of information on education and psychological theorists.
- Both circulating and reference books provide valuable background information on a topic of interest and their cited references are an efficient way to locate related research literature.
- Current reference books can be used to access statistical data in education.
