- Topics that may not be able to be introduced in the context of a course.  Counseling; all students would get universal introduction to issues.  Chemistry majors take seminar.  

- RF - choose 5 from one list and then suggest outside workshops.

- Student mentors, peer-to-peer, power of peers.

- Living communities

- peer mentors in classes

- residence halls

- negative having impact on good students?

- non-credit piece of first year experience... 1.5 hours every week

- what about non-traditional students? international students? transfer students? students with disabilities?

- seminars for majors; exploratory studies students? Chemistry, professional writing, math, biology, pre-nursing (advisees)
