Yankee has an impressive list of selection tools. Below are some of the major one but there are others. The use of these tools if free. (They want you to buy books).

• Academic Essentials are lists of YBP bestsellers for a given topic that changes each month.

• YBP CORE 1000 BP Library Services is pleased to make available the YBP CORE 1000.

  YBP has developed, designed and implemented this service to aid academic libraries in assessing current collections and to allow smaller academic libraries the opportunity to benefit from participation with a seasoned vendor in collection development.

• Undergraduate Curriculum Lists

  YBP Library Services and Baker & Taylor are pleased to make available a series of selection lists created specifically for our college customers. Our intent is to provide our customers with tools to develop comprehensive, up-to-date collections that fully support their institution's mission, faculty and students. As primary suppliers of academic materials to libraries of all sizes, we maintain a database which is a valuable resource for acquisitions and collection development librarians.

  Hand-picked titles designed to supplement a collection with timely and often crucial subject matter.
