Purpose
What problem are we trying to solve? Can we leverage the solution to get us onto the road of a real repository?
- To compile an annual report of faculty accomplishments (Provost's request)
- To offer faculty a means to maintain personal records of scholarly and creative works.
- To promote WCSU faculty accomplishments to the public.
- To provide a centralized repository for intellectual output of the university, including faculty, staff, students, administration, organizations.
- To provide perpetual access to digital content
- To participate in the global research/scholarship environment by making WCSU content openly available
- Fully integrated academic information system (into the future)?

I think Veronica did a good job on stating the purpose. What I don't see are any ideas of how we're going to achieve this purpose. We all want to cure cancer (our purpose) but it's implementing a cure that is the hard part.

The only thing I don't understand is the "fully integrated academic info system." That seems a bit off the table. I would add that it has to have a level of usability that a wide variety of expertise will be able to embrace it - both on the administative and user ends.
