Rename the LinkSource link?

--Veronica, 2003/09/18 14:54 EST

I think the text might be misleading. The students I have worked with automatically assume that they will get the full text electronically by clicking that link and are upset when only the ILL link shows up. I am suggesting that we should reconsider the wording of the link... even though I was the one who said we should not change it once the service went live!

So, some ideas I have are:

  • Click for article availability
  • Click for article options
  • Availability options

    or, my personal favorite:

  • Where the X!0?@$%X is this article???????

Joanne has indicated to me that in some cases books as well as articles are coming through (MLA in particular) therefore wording should be "Availablity Options"
