Getting timely feedback on all these processes is important. Selectors need to know that materials have been ordered and when it is finally received.
Putting new books lists on the web is good. Could use RSS Feeds to make this easier.
Automating notification will probably be easier in an in-house system because all the information will already be collected but could possibly be done by using Innovative order records supplied by vendor.
