I've collected data for the last 12 months in regard to Western's telecommunication access to OCLC. The data was collected from http://stats.oclc.org/tis . Access to the site requires an authorization number and password. The table include information concering the following:
- method of connection (dedicated or from the Internet)
- the OCLC product used
- the number of sessions for the month
- the duration of those sessions
- the number of bytes that were transfered during those sessions

Observations about this data
It is little difficult to see but if you look at the date column it appears that we have already been shifted over to accessing OCLC from the internet. All ILL product have Internet access only. The other procucts have both dedicated AND Internet access with the cutoff date being roughly December of 2001.
Internet Access Cost (Nelinet FY 2003 Rate Schedule)
- OCLC Cataloging and Resource Sharing Access (per Hour) $3.78 OR
- Internet Flat Fee (per simultaneous user/per month - unlimited usage) $138.04 ($1,656.48 per yr.)
This came from the OCLC Access Options page at Nelinet
