Ebsco Combined Database Searching

Thanks to Brian for setting up this WIKI, and thanks to both Veronica and Brian for setting up Linksource. It's a tremendous asset. I demo'd it for the first time last night in ED501. The students were very impressed, and there were only a few glitches... I am hopeful that Gale will resolve its open URL problems, as we are currently unable to retrieve full text from their system (even when linksource indicates the article is available from a Gale database). I am also curious about combined database searching in light of linksource functions. I think that when using combined databases, under advance searching, there is more power to refine the search in a database-specific way. But I'm wondering if linksource will automatically take the user to items in another EBSCO database, even if only a single database is searched. I could hear the students literally gasp when they were given an automatic link to the ILL forms!
