Request Form
Need a form that faculty can submit. Proably mailed to some one. Elements might include:
- course number
- course name
- list of albums that they want
Note
The following things may be hard to do.
- store a list of cds that we own that they can pick from
- how to keep the above list current
Ripping
The CDs will be ripped using the ACC encoder. After the a given number of cds are done they will then be converted to low qualitiy mp3 and exported.
Convert / Export
Converting the m4a file to a low quality mp3 will lower the required bandwith significantly. This low quality file can be downloaded to authorized WCSU members. This is a compromise between strict copyright and usefullness. We'll see.
The home for these converted files will be the library server not the ripping station.
Create m3u Playlist
An m3u playlist will be created for each alblumn.
