| Abstract: | This thesis project contains four chapters of the science-fiction novel, Arlin’s Watch, as well as a chapter outline of the rest of the novel. The novel follows the journey of a man, along with his uninvited canine companion as he travels across different worlds by the use of a mysterious device known as the watch. Arlin longs to find a place to call home, but in every unique world he visits, from the viciously primitive to the unimaginably high-tech, there is only one person left. |
